Your personal data is safe with us

Sparbanken Sjuhärad processes your personal data in a correct manner. Customer data is protected by bank secrecy and is handled confidentially.

  • Personal data is all the information that can be directly or indirectly connected to you as an individual. It varies from your personal identity number, name and address to information such as IP address, bank card withdrawals, registration number or the language you told us you would like to be contacted in.

What data we require depends upon what service you are using. We can get personal data directly from you when we sign an agreement at a branch, relating to a loan or insurance, but also at a later stage when you communicate with the bank and use the services. We can also retrieve data from external sources, for example, credit reference agencies and the civil status register, as well as through cookies on our websites.

  • To be able to supply you with our services, it is, at times, necessary for us to share your personal data with other companies within Sparbanken Sjuhärad, the Swedbank Group or other suppliers that work on our behalf. We place the same demands on our partners regarding confidentiality and security of customer data that we place on ourselves. We are always responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed correctly.

We may also share data with for example the authorities, Swedish Credit Reporting Agencies, partners within international payment systems and whenever necessary, as required by the law or judicial processes.
